There are many oolongs from China, but Bai Hao Oolong is one of our favorites. Grown in Fujian Province and hand harvested in mid-summer, Bai Hao has large, tightly-twisted blackish leaves with an abundance of silver tips. Oolong teas fall into a class between fully fermented (black) tea and non-fermented (green) tea. As one of the more fermented oolongs, Bai Hao has lovely peachy notes with a light liquor and aroma.
