July Tea Flight of the Month
Our flight starts with two green teas side by side - Sencha and Mao Feng Shui. They are prime examples of the differences between traditional Chinese and Japanese green teas and highlight the difference in tea production in the two regions. Next, we move to Indian 1st Flush Darjeeling, or harvest, of the year. These first pluckings, known as First Flush, offer a more delicate and floral experience than their Second Flush counterparts. Capping the flight is a departure from tradition entirely. Originally a collaboration with Bull in China for our Maker’s Series, we re-released our Astoria’s Amaro into our regular line. The cascara and chicory based blend was created to mimic the flavor complexities of an Italian Amari. Bon app!
