Love the size and versatility of this pot! It is perfect for use with large tea leaves that unfurl when brewing. Versatile, as one can brew smaller volumes, or use the the entire 600ml pot for larger brews. Great strainer that catches even the smallest fragments of tea leaves. Very easy to clean. Suggestion: Use a cork trivet to set the pot on while brewing to help insulate, and avoid any potential of thermal shock. (Bought a set of 2 cork trivets on Amazon for $6.95). “Challenges” - This vessel is made of very thin glass, therefore fragile. Metal lid is also thin, and rather loose fitting. If brewing a pot with large tea leaves and/or a high leaf to water content, go slow when pouring, and hold lid in place with a finger or two, or it will pop off from the build up of the leaves. Also, pot has a tendency to dribble, pouring slowly will eliminate. Honestly, for the price, I expected better quality. Bottom line…it works extremely well for brewing oolong and full leaf white teas.
