Scorching down the house...

I love this tea. I'm a lapsing suchong fan, which my wife calls "burning down the house" tea, because this is subtler it's called "scorching down the house" tea. I love the smoky aroma and full bodied flavor, it's fast become a favorite.

A favorite black tea!

I love this tea! It's perfect with a bit of milk and sweetener! A slight smokey flavor but not overpowering. I don't prefer flavored teas but this is definitely subtle and my favorite.

So Smoky!

The tea seems really good and high quality, but it's too smoky for me. It's only the second smoky tea I've had, so maybe it's just not for me.

Zheng Shan

Chinese Black Tea

The original Lapsang, the most sought after smoked tea in all of China. Delicate and wiry black tea leaves are smoked with pine boughs for a complex and full yet smooth experience.

Zhejiang Province

Zhejiang Province is located in Eastern China, directly south of Shanghai and Jiangsu Province. These three areas made up a region known in earlier times as the "Land of Fish and Rice". Today, Zhejiang still holds up its end of the bargain as home to China's largest fishery and as one of the largest food producers, along with leading in tea production. The tea used in Zheng Shan is harvested in the spring and then smoked in the summer.
