Clean and Refreshing

Legendary Chinese emperor Shen Nung, also called the Divine Healer, wrote around the year 1200 B.C. that tea "quenches thirst, lessens the desire for sleep, and gladdens and cheers the heart." It's likely that the tea Shen Nung was sipping on when he wrote this was a pot of Mao Feng, a high-grown Chinese green tea with long, slender jade leaves and a notably toasty flavor. Harvested in spring, the lingering sweetness of this tea can be found in our single varietal, No. 8 Mao Feng Shui, or our blend of lemon, spearmint and green tea in No. 39 Fez.
