This is the perfect balance between a rich, mildly acidic, breakfast tea and gently sweet black tea. It's got enough punch to wake you up without being astringent as most breakfast teas are. It's the best of both worlds.
I have taken Darjeeling tea in Darjeeling and from many sources over the years, first and second blush and blends. This Bungalow has got to be one of the best and is now my favorite.
I have never been too wild about Darjeeling before, and always was a bit vexed when people would talk about it like it was the best thing ever. Now, having tasted this blend, I understand why it's so popular. This tea is smooth, complex, well-rounded, and oh-so-satisfying.
