About This Tea
The traditional tea of the Japanese tea ceremony. Matcha is made from finely powdered tender green tea leaves known as Tencha in the Aichi Prefecture in Japan. Japanese matcha.
Preparation
For best flavor, bring freshly drawn water to 175 degrees. Add between 1/2 and 1 teaspoon matcha per cup. Whisk vigorously for at least 30 seconds. Drink while contemplating this floating world. Learn how to make a matcha latte.
