Ginger Rising Matcha Latte

Ingredients

  • 1/2 - 1 tsp matcha powder, depending on preference 
  • Freshly drawn filtered water at 175℉ 
  • 8 oz milk of choice 
  • Ginger Rising simple syrup* 
  • Simple syrup (optional) 

*Ginger Rising Simple Syrup

  • 4 sachets Ginger Rising
  • 2 cups of boiling water
  • 2 cups sugar

Directions

Ginger Rising Simple Syrup

  1. Steep 4 sachets in 2 cups of boiling water for 10 minutes. Discard sachets.
  2. Add 2 cups sugar to hot tea concentrate and stir to combine.
  3. Transfer to sterile jar and refrigerate for up to one month.

Latte

  1. Measure matcha powder and sift into a 12 ounce latte cup or bowl. 
  2. Add 1 ounce of water at 175℉ to create a concentrate. 
  3. Mix with a matcha whisk or electric whisk to remove any clumps. Continue whisking until no visible powder remains. 
  4. Add ½ oz Ginger Rising Syrup and 1 tsp of simple syrup to matcha. 
  5. Steam milk of your choice and add to matcha.Â
