Merry Maker's Ice Cubes

Ingredients

  • Merry Maker’s Punch concentrate*
  • Cranberries (fresh or frozen)
  • Orange, sliced into wheels and then into quarters
  • Rosemary

Directions

  1. Pour Merry Maker's Punch concentrate into 2x2 inch ice cube tray or ice tray of your choice.
  2. Add cranberries, rosemary sprigs, orange peel or any other edible garnishes of your choice.
  3. Carefully place in your freezer to set for several hours.
  4. Add to your favorite festive holiday beverages.
  5. Enjoy.

*Merry Maker's Punch Concentrate

Directions

Make Merry Maker’s tea concentrate by steeping one sachet for 5 minutes with 250ml (1 cup) water just off the boil. After 5 minute steep, remove sachet and add 250ml (1 cup) of cold water. 

Tea ice cubes using single serve sachets

To craft ice cubes using your favorite single serve hot tea sachets follow the instructions below. This recipe can be tweaked to the concentration and amount that you need. For more concentrated flavor, add an additional sachet but use the same amount of water. For more volume, increase water amount and sachet count proportionally.

Directions

  1. Bring spring or freshly drawn filtered water to the appropriate temperature (185 degrees for green/white/oolong and 212 or boiling for black/herbal).
  2. Pour 10 oz water over 2 sachets of your favorite tea and steep for the appropriate amount of time for tea type (3 minutes for green/white/oolong and 5 minutes for black/herbal).
  3. Remove sachets and pour concentrate into ice cube tray.
  4. Freeze.
