Taking inspiration from the good 'ole fashioned, we offer this whiskey-based Kissmet cocktail brimming with notes of cardamom, citrus and caramel. This bright yet sultry elixir is designed to be sipped in a coupe or a rocks glass, as you like. But don't forget the rather large ice cube.

Sands of Time

  • 1/2 oz Kissmet concentrate*
  • 2 oz Rye Whiskey (or bourbon)
  • 3 dashes cardamom bitters
  • Scant teaspoon of sugar
  • 1-3 Amarena cherries
  • Large ice cube
  • Lemon twist

  1. Add sugar, bitters, and cherries to rocks glass or beaker and muddle until sugar is mostly dissolved.
  2. If using a rocks glass, add a large ice cube directly to the glass. If using a coupe, skip directly to the next step.
  3. Add Rye whiskey and Kissmet concentrate. Give a quick stir to combine and garnish with a lemon peel. If serving in a coupe, add your large ice cube and pour stirred cocktail over ice.
  4. Enjoy.
