This eye-opening matcha-infused mocktail crafted by Eric Nelson of the newly James Beard nominated Eem pairs our clean, umami-packed matcha with smooth root beer syrup and a dash of bitters. No advanced prep required.  Satisfaction guaranteed.

Smog eraser


  • 2 oz prepared Matcha (our ratio: 2 heaping tsp to 12 oz water)
  • 1 oz Almond Milk
  • 3/4 oz root beer syrup (we use Portland Soda Works )
  • 4 dashes Scrappy’s Cardamom bitters


  1. Combine all ingredients into an ice-filled glass and stir for 6-10 seconds.
  2. Garnish with an orange twist, a mint sprig, and a light dusting of nutmeg.
  3. Enjoy while relaxing to maximize smog-lifting effects.
